Despite the huge popularity of Hillarys Boat Harbour with day-trippers and shoppers, the underlying function of the harbour is in fact to accommodate yachts and small boats. Officially opened in 1988 it was the first major marina in the north metropolitan region.
The harbour provides a full range of boating services including fuel, launching ramps, pens, servicing, and chandlery.
Luckily however, you don't have to be a boat owner to enjoy the wonders of the sea, you can simply book a fish, dive, or whale charter with one of the many charter operators.
